Did Brian Rose leave Bumpus?  :nixweiss: I seem to remember folks riding to the store just to get him to tune their bikes.

Yes and no - he did but he is back.  But at their Collierville, TN, store - across town from the Memphis store where he was previously.  And they have a brand new dyno at the Collierville shop all set up and ready to go.

Each cylinder was tuned.
How is that accomplished with the D&D 2-into-1?  How do you get clean info from each individual cylinder?

With long sensor probes you can get one up in the front cylinder pipe of the header and the other in the rear. They're separate pipes til they tie together for the muffler connection Jerry. ;)

Fully understand that.  Just thought with the baffle installed you could not get the probe that far into the header.

Now I understand your question.
Let me say this first.
I bought the D&D used, from a guy on the site that said the baffel was the "Quiet" baffle.
Compared to Nancy's 103 with the performance baffle my 09 is very quiet.
NOW, assuming my baffle is the quiet one but not knowing for sure, I stood there and watched Brian insert the probes into the pipe far enough to go in the individual header pipes. That I'm sure of!

OK.  Just thought I recalled Brian Rose telling me he had difficulty getting the probe in far enough when he tuned mine with the D&D with quiet baffle.  But that's been 18 months and I may have mis-remembered (is that a word?).

Sure glad I have the 'quiet' baffle 'cause it is plenty loud for me and most especially HQ!  But I get compliments from other riders on how good my bike sounds.  I really, really like the Fat Cats!

I also like the D&D fatCat.

On the way home yesterday on interstate 85 south the traffic stopped.
There had been a wreck about 20 miles down the road.
For almost 5 miles I creeped along at 0 to 10 MPH till I could get to an good exit to get home.
The motor never got hot, never idled funny and just plodded along in the stop and go traffic.
I attribute that to one of three things or maybe a combination of some or all of the three.
The bike had just been tuned and wasn't lean like it came from the factory.
The D&D pipe had been powder coated inside and out.
The temperature was 35 degrees.

But even with the cold, it was a fun trip home! (cept for the traffic)

Dropped by the Bumpus Collierville, Tn,  store this morning and visited with Brian Rose.  He was busy in the dyno room working his magic and said to come on down and see him if you need a tune.  The dyno is in a seperate building (fire department mandate) just outside the shop and has a brand new state-of-the art dyno.  Sorry forgot my camera but I can tell you it is a sweet set-up.
