Chip,

Does the 110 diet require a special tune?

I'm starting this thread so any tuning and dyno test on 09 SEUC's can all be in the same place

I had an appointment for tuning my bike with Brian at Tman Performance today.
TR (Tman) wanted to have my bike tuned for some baseline results before any other upgrades are done.
Mine was the first 09 that has been in his shop on his dyno.
He has moved his dyno to the building next to his shop.
Tman's company  www.tmanperformance.com have also been holding classes monthly to teach tuning on the dyno.
They teach dyno tuning on a SERT, Super SERT and or the Thunder Max.
Below is Brian that teaches the classes. He tuned my bike today.
I have read many post(s) from other tuners that it's a time consuming process.
The word was, if a tune is done quickly with a SERT then you really didn't get your bike tuned, you probably just got a canned map.
Brian started on mine this morning at 9:00 and finished at 2:30. And he didn't stop for lunch.
Tman Performance updates their dyno everytime DynoJet updates their equipement. Their dyno is as TR says, a very stingy dyno, but a very accurate one.
After warm-up and settling in they did a base run.
With the S/E breather and the D&D pipe (w/quiet baffle) the base numbers were 90 horsepower and 98 torque. I was pleased with this till I saw the AFR.
It was like a roller coaster. All over the chart.
So, many hours later Brian was done. Now the bike has a flat AFR line and the torque jumps up to 105 at 2200 RPM and peaks at 108 at 3500 and stays above 100 till redline at 5800. Horsepower was a sharp climb to 96 and then leveled off to redline.
I am pleased with the bike, Brian was pleased and TR was happy with these numbers as a baseline.
What is really good, is how the bike runs now. While no powerhouse it pulls clean and smooth from down low in 6th to well above the 120 mark.
I didn't push it much more than that because today wasn't a good day for, "Get your bike tuned and go to jail day"
So till other work is done I am pleased.
I have a dyno sheet but I'm not posting it.
As Hubbard would say, "I have never been outrun by a piece of paper" If you want to know more or want to get a good tune, call the number on the website,
www.Tmanperformance.com
The tune they did is my tune and if your interested Tman can and will do the same for you! If you want it.
If you have a 09 SEUC with a D&D Fatcat w/quiet baffle and a S/E breather and a Super SERT I have a map for you!

Chip,
I sent you two PMs regarding your offer to share the map but have not received responses to either one. Did you receive them?
Thanks,
John

I recently had a test run on the dynojet.  My bike has Bub 7 Exhaust, PC V with auto tuner and Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner.  The results were 90 HP and 110  lbs. tourque at the rear wheel.  Does anyone have numbers for the stock motor.  And has anyone else with a similar set up had a test done?  If so what were those numbers.  Just curious.

Chip

The strangest thing, I am suppose to call TR. I just got the SERT for my scoot Yesterday.
I just have to give him a shout and set something up. My service Tech up here at HRHD gave me his name and said he was the guy!

I guess he's a couple 2 or three hundred miles away from me, but it will be worth it.

Things just weren't working out with my set up.

Ask Jeff (Black Diamond) who is doing his tune. He's driving hundreds of miles to get his done.
Why put quality parts on the bike and then have some D/A pretend to tune it.
Brian at Tman conducts classes on tuning the SERT, Ssert, Thundermax and the powercommander.
Call him and set up an appointment.
After 13400 miles on mine in 9 months, I can say the Tman tune was the best money I have spent on my 09 SEUC.

Yeah I have had mine 3 months now and have 6,000 miles, sounds like we ride about the same.

I will call this guy tomorrow, I don't mind spending the money or the time as long as the Bike performs to it's ability.
I am not talking #'s just talking performance and reliability. My 06 was flawless and I want the same for this or it's just not as enjoyable to run.
