Anyone interested in paying shipping can have this. Got it when I spent money at the dealership and have no room or need to start yet another collection. It looks nice but it is all plastic. Thought there might be someone out there with ones from previous years. Merry Christmas!

Got 2 interested parties within 10 seconds of each other. Assume it's gone unless I bump the thread. Happy to see it go to someone who wants it.

I've collected these since H-D first began this annual promotion. With my disability retirement, I've been cutting back, spending cash only, paying off my credit cards etc. As such, I won't be spending any money at the local H-D dealership, especially the $250 required to get these. If anyone ends up with several ( I had four one year) I'd appreciate a shot at one of them . I'm not pleading charity here as this is not exactly one of life's necessities, just asking if anyone gets more than they need to shoot me a PM

Thanks

Was I supposed to get one for each $350 in parts spent? I would have gotten 3 or 4. Is it 1 gift per transaction?

Lemme get this straight. The economy's in the crapper, unemployment is at a 15 year high, we're in the middle of a recession the likes of which haven't been seen since the 1930's, H-D dealerships are closing their doors for want of customers and they've UPPED the ante. Exactly who in the hell is running H-D Inc ? Whoever they are, they've got their head up their a$$.

FYI
The way to get more than one is to have the sales person "ring" up the sale in three hundred fifty dollar increments using your own name for one your wifes on another etc etc You have to outsmart the cheap bastards.

So maybe they shouldn't be worrying about freebies (with insulting buy-ins to qualify) at all and just tending to business :nixweiss: ?

Don
I couldn't agree more. So far as I'm concerned, they should be skipping the promotions, slashing prices and kissing ass to hang onto the customers they have and maybe gain a few new ones. This whole thing is just more of the same bullchit in which the suits running H-D think we're all a bunch of stupid cows to be milked on a regular basis.

I need a new pair of rain pants. I like a particular type H-D makes. I will go buy a pair of fisherman's yellow oilskins before I give H-D a nickle these days. I've got a feeling I'm going to be buying a lot of now H-D items for motorcycle use in the future.

Doc's HD in Kirkwood MO, my dealer, has lowered the minimum down to $250 for a gift set.  I think that seeing how they have to buy them from HD, they can set whatever level they want, but the HD recommended minimum is $350.

Have a great turkey day to all.

Hell Ya Dan, they can charge twice MSRP if they want -- - - - - - - and then scratch their collective B_ _ _s as to why business sucks. Sorry to be on this rant, but I'm getting a belly full of the crap all over the media about poor poor business owners. Supply and demand, free enterprise. If you're not selling then you need to change your business plan. Most Americans still have jobs and most still can afford to buy, but everyone's holding back because business doesn't seem to get it. You want my business then work for it. If you won't, I won't buy. Finally, the consumer holds some power and what's Big Business doing - - - - running to the Feds asking for handouts that taxpayers foot the bill for. Beyond shoring up our financial system, any business that can't stand on it's own feet deserves to die in my book. The vast majority of Big Corp Suits are right wing ideologues who scream about socialism when it's healthcare or something for the taxpayers. But they expect us to bail them out. F_ _k them and the horse they ride into DC on.

I'd take the 20% rebate offered by the online dealers instead of spending the equivalent of US$ 70 for the plastic bikes. On the other hand, I have them since the wife wanted that brand-new jeans suit which is a limited item and might (omg) not be available online. That and a belt, I (we) qualified. Now since I do not have the space for the huge frame, I take it apart (easier this year than last year) and detach the models. They are cheap plastic, by the way. Then I mount them (together with last year's) in my Harley room on the wall. Looks okay to me. As I have said before, I did like the tanks much better.

Happy Thanxgiving to anyone reading!

Sorry dude, it's a nice gesture and I'm sure the beneficiary is pleased.

I got off topic because of what's all over the news these days.

Have a great T-Day
