Howdy from Djibouti

Hi everyone from Djibouti....It's a small African nation on the east coast of Africa just above Somalia. I am currently stationed at Camp Lemonier and can't wait to get back to the states in February and pick up my 09 SEUC. First choice in colors was the Ruby Red, with the Silver/Blue my second choice; but ended up with the Autumn Haze/High Octane Orange (only color that was being offered with the military purchase program at the time).... Kinda wish I had not found this site yet. I've already spent about a grand on chrome and parts and haven't even seen the bike yet. I own a 03 wide glide also. Just before heading here I took a trip across the U.S. from Virginia to Mississippi then up to Washington State. Broke down in Reno and had to leave the Wide Glide there. Took them over a month to replace the engine and rebuild the tranny. Luckily I had just extended the warranty another couple of years. Now I just have to fly back to Reno when I get back and pick it up. Gonna be nice to have the two bikes, especially for the long hauls traveling on the SEUC. Look forward to seeing many of you on the road.
