they called it a simple back-up system.

Anyway I arrive at the job today to start up the Cryo pump and cold heads and find this uking mess hanging on the wall.
I only needed four 1" water lines hooked to my units from the chiller, anyway the pile of bullchit would not work.  :roll:


they called it a simple back-up system.

Jimp,

It looks like they want Instrumnetation Techs to run your system rather thaan just a lowl operator lol.

If that blue item is a pump the wiring does not seem to be complete. Only two of the valves seem to be in the Open Position and Four of the Valves are Closed can not tell which is the Main Inlet Valve I am assuimng where the Pump is. Are those square boxes Pneumatic Actuators with Postioners and Valves Buried under the Insulation? What Position are they in, closed or open?

What is the picture on the bottom of.

Is that system Ammonia, nice smell, get out.

Nice MR...1.5t or 3 t.

Looks like inhouse job on the back up chilled water.

Hard to tell who made the magnet without the cover...Doesnt look like Siemens...

? GE or Phillips ?

ps..I would be pi$$ed off if they did that to one of my Magnets or Ct's.
