Well I sure hope your wrong on this one; Its a cryin shame to see someone who has given so much to this site and to his country to get chastised for something that seems to me they didn't do...Could be wrong; but don't think so

           I seriously doubt that either Neal or any of the Mods will pick up this thread and argue it with you, in fact, I expect this thread to get locked any moment. But I'm gonna try to get this post in before it does.

      Right and wrong are debatable here, but what isn't debatebale is respect for the chain of command of the organization (this site) I'm sure Sean would be the first person to step up and tell you that sometimes decisions are made on the basis of maintaining the proper perspective on who's in charge. Sean's service to his country (and Henry's as well) are not at issue here. The level of their infraction is not at issue here. What is, in my opinion is the perception by the Mods that their authority was being flaunted. Right ? Wrong ? Who knows, but Neal made a decision and while we may agree or disagree we all talk the talk of supporting them in their jobs of moderating and maintaining this site to the level they feel best serves ALL of the membership. Just because we like Sean and Henry doesn't change the fact that we have to walk the walk of that support to Neal and his Mods or we've lost more than just one or two members. As I said, I believe Sean and Henry both would agree that no one person is more important than the group as a whole.I get my nose about a mile out of joint every so often on something the Mods do, but I can not say one thing and mean another. I've said time and again I support Neal and his Mods 100% and I mean it, so if that means I swallow a bit of gristle every so often then so be it.

BB...I will always support the mods on this site because Neal in his wisdom has developed what I think is the ultimate forum regarding the Harley (Motorcycle) discussion; I really believe that. I can't however sit behind this screen and watch as good people get chastised for something they didn't do; and not one moderator has offered to me any reason for Sean and Henry's timeout other than they were being disrespectful and they broke site rules. Based on the posta Sean and Henry made; I still am trying to figure out what it was they ssaid to be disrespectful. Now, does anyone owe me and explination; maybe not, but it sure would help as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, I hope Henry and Sean return

          Your post is a clear example of why the site rules direct members to deal with issues via PM when they cannot resolve them in open forum. I would respectfully suggest you PM Neal and work out your issues privately with him.

Unfortunately there's a real difference between simply lurking and the comfort and trust necessary to choose to be particapatory.  Rightly or wrongly, if a man feels like he needs to watch over his shoulder while there it's hard to enjoy the playground.
