Renea just called.  She arrived safe in Selma.  Gonna be an interesting week for her.  Hopefully all this double action handgun training we've been doing will pay out for her this week.  She has become quite the tack nailer at the range..........not to mention she has one heck of a grip for a little bitty Lady.

She is lethal, Jorge..........and with double action at that.  She's expended over 15K rounds of ammunition to get to this point.  But there is a lighter side to this.


Last week, she was at the range with my H&K .40 S&W.  She's been practicing double action with it using the decock.  She was REALLY pushing herself, and I guess she had pushed just a little too much................took out a row of lights in her lane.  She said the range master laughed.  Of course, she was embarassed.  So, I stopped by after work that evening to see what the bill was going to be for the damage and go ahead and pay for it.  Again, the rangemaster laughed, and told me they'd take care of it.  Happens all the time.  That's what range fees are for.  KEWL!

..............................she just packed up some stuff in a suitcase, plopped her laptop computer in a backpack, grabbed her Walther PPK/S, snatched my ZUMO, cleaned out my wallet, jumped in her Ranger truck and hit the highway.

Just ran off this morning.



She's headed to Selma, AL to begin her training for the job she just landed supporting a program on Redstone Arsenal.

I know someone who works in some part of the arsenal and he has to wear a protective suit all day, and he has Crohn's disease and a colostomy bag, he says it's not pleasant at all especially in the summer.

This got real weird, real quick, real fast, and in a real hurry.  Not sure where that came from, but it seems if the man can still do his job, then the rest doesn't really matter.  Apparently it isn't unpleasant enough for him to move on.  Still can't figure out what this has to do with.......anything.....let alone Renea's new job.

We'll, tell me, do you think during her weapons training this week, my wife is going to be issued her very own case of Crohn's Disease, complete with colostomy bag, before or after she is issued her protective suit?     I'd like to know so I can visit the apothecary and pick up some disposable colostomy bags, so she'll have them at the ready.
