They just had a huge Sale this past friday, 40%off everything 7-10
many more sales coming up. but stock is low there since Ricky K is opening up the new Stealership Dealership at the beginning of the year.

Are they still running the shop in Columbia, or did that get sold?  Supposedly they are gonna build a new store and get out of the warehouse they're in, but they've been saying that for years.

Personally, I like the warehouse.  These new "designer" stores detract from the soul of the machine........IMHO.

Alrighty Then............Franklin is just a quick scoot up US 431 for me.  I reckon I'll need to head up there.

Yes the Columbia shop is still open but it's nearing closing. Ricky has already repositioned himself at Cool springs to the GM position, to raise money for the new store. Where do you live?

Last time I was up there, the GM at the Columbia store, Bill Isom, indicated they were gonna build a new store just east of I-65 Exit 46 (Columbia, TN 412).  As mentioned before......that's been their story for years.  OK, well..........I'll certainly miss the warehouse.

I'm about 8 miles north of Huntsville, AL nestled three miles east of US 231/431.  Meridianville/Hazel Green/New Market.

Great dealership.  They're the ones who did my skin swap, since my 06 SEUC was one of the ones that had jacked up milky looking paint.  Of course, I'm certain Bruce Edmundson, HD Rep, had alot to do with that...............but even still............it was harder that woodpecker lips to get him to finally see the paint was crap.  Thank God it was sunny that day.  Anyway, they did right by me....................but, you remember them designer shops?  WOW!  That place is like a mall.   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2:

They treated me great. The night I took delivery I noticed that a couple pieces were missing from my saddle bags, I called Mark Zorn Sunday morning, had the pieces Tuesday. Another Issue I had was that I broke the clutch actuator, or un-actuator, or whatever its called, since this a re-designed part for 09, it was backordered. when it came in they mailed it to me All free of charge. My service this weekend was great, fair price and they accomplished all my little tweaks. They are looking for a new Street Glide for mi esposa. Both Mark and Slick were great. I met that dealer when I was in B'nghm for POT training.

I know you had a nice ride home then.  Saturday was just a little damp, but otherwise the riding was great.

Yeah, I know y'er bustin' my chops, but the questions continue.  I just checked the PA Inspection Laws, and get this:

        (8)  A motorcycle shall be equipped with at least one red reflector to the rear.

        (e)  Other required lamps. A motorcycle shall have at least one red stop lamp and no more than two—one on each side—on the rear of the vehicle, which shall be illuminated immediately upon application of the service brake

This means that my bike came illegal out of the box.  I don't think there are any other reflectors on the rear, other than this amber one.  Second, between the taillamp and the ones on the tourpack, I'm already over the state limit (assuming they count the ones on the bottom side edge of the tourpack that are slightly visible from the rear).  So if I went with something like the Kuryakyn Panacea kit and switched my turn signals to run/turn/stop, I'll be even further over the limit.  Then, if I mount the LED that fits into the luggage rack and perhaps get one of those LED light bars that goes across the bottom of the rear of the tourpack,  I'm way overboard.

Do you think the inspection stations here really enforce this crap?  It sounds like PA doesn't want us to be seen on the highway.  I'm going to remove that freakin' amber reflector and talk to a couple of inspection people to get their take on this.  Obviously, I've seen many Ultra's running around with so many lights on the rear, they look like Christmas trees driving down the road.  I'd prefer to equip my bike within the state guidelines, however I'd also like to still be alive to argue why the laws are prohibiting me from being highly visible, should I get pulled over.

I just took that reflector off the back.  I didn't notice until it was laying there on the floor, that it actually was red after all.  I was looking only at the photo of my bike, and apparently, something went awry in the photo.  I'll get a license plate frame with the "required" rear reflector.  That should take care of me for this adventure anyway.

I think my total bill on the coring bit was $41.14.  From looking at it, I would assume it would make it through another cc.  Not that I'm any kind of expert on core bits.  Let me know if you want to give it a try.  I guess I could take a photo of it to show you how it looks at this point.  I'll do that next time I'm down the steps and into the garage today.

I just got a call from a dealer wanting to know if I was still looking for an '09 SE Ultra.  It felt good telling them that I already picked one up, after the deal they tried offering me before.  I was at least kind enough to put him in contact with a friend that will take it off their hands if they can make him a decent trade.

Okay, I got energetic and went down and took some photos of the core bit.  I have no idea how to attach photos in personal messages, so I guess the general population will have to suffer through looking at a few photos here.  I'm guessing this thing has plenty of life left in it.  Dartman said that he has done about 20 of these with one bit.
