What's RIGHT With Your CVO ?
« on: December 01, 2008, 10:24:27 AM »

With all the Harley bashing, CVO complaints and general pissin' and moaning about the MoCo I thought a thread might be in order for those who really enjoy their bikes.  Hopefully, some positive comments can afford some relief from the depressing trend.

My comments?  I love my CVO's.  I like the way the MoCo maintains the marketing that holds my dollar investment far better than any other motorcycle.  I liked my 103's and feel even stronger about the 110 potential.  I think the paint and finish work gets better every model.  Thanks HD!   :2vrolijk_21:

Nice thread! :2vrolijk_21:

I really enjoy me SEEG and I really like the 09 bagger chassis and ABS brakes.  Looking forward to the next Screamin Eagle Electra Glide (not ultra classic) or Screamin Eagle Street Glide.

Those who complain should spend a few years trying to put the same kind of miles on a flathead, knuckle, pan or even a shovelhead and they'd really appreciate the product that's being put out now.  Not saying there isn't still room for improvement in quality......just saying they've came a long way baby! :2vrolijk_21:

Great thread Brian!

I also enjoy all my Screaming Eagles.

I also enjoy my silver and black 03 Classic.

Bashing of the MoCo factory, dealers and systems is easy on the internet.

Everybody is an expert there.

I'm with JC on the 09 chassis, can't beat it.

Screaming Eagles rule, and the only rice I ever had that was almost as good was this past Thursday at Thanksgiving!

Just can't wait for that 2013 110th Anniversary Screaming Eagle W/C Dresser.

I'm loving my'04 & '05 SEEG's.  54K on the 05, 25K on the pumpkin.  Love the ride, power, reliability, and the attention that they get wherever I go.  Love the resale value as well.  While the MoCo does dopey little things like the rubber tube on the oil vent line to get us to spend more $s, no complaints from me!!!

I love the looks and performance of my bike. Have lusted after this bike for years and am very pleased with it. Have only put 6K miles on it so far but it has run well. Other than a new starter, no maintenance issues. These bikes turn heads and I am sure that is one of the reasons we own them. It is in my case. Would buy this bike again.

Love my HD's especially my CVO's! Never had major issues with the Evo's and my BLUE3 seems to be no exception. My SERK3 is the best RK HD ever made. It just needed LOADS of help! But that only made it the perfect hot rod touring bike for me. I'll continue to call BS on all the stupidity that accompanies the new bikes. But overall, I wouldn't ride anything else, and love ALL my bikes!!! ;)

No complaints here, I love the ride, the bike handles great and I always get a second look on the road.  Issues, yes, but the moco has done the right thing and fixed everythinhg in a reasonable manner, maybe I just got a good shop.  I got 12K on and am looking forward to the next 12K.

Have Fun

Looks, performance, did I mention the looks. The bike handles far better than my 02 RG. This is my first SE, and I can't wait to get it out on the road for a long trip.  Oh, and did I mention how great it looks?  :orange:

With all the concerns we have had (in excess of $12,000 under warranty) it is now at the point we can get on and twist the throttle, and twist it we do! This baby moves! Put air under the front tire many times ( just ask Rooster), while not trying. Maybe not as good looking as a Nanna, Cherry, or Ziggy (2009 Stardust), or most of the CVO line we love it now.

What's RIGHT With Your CVO ? Everything. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm just as happy today when I jump on it and twist the throttle as I was the first time I did. Just like anything there have been bumps in the road, but none have been so bad that they have made me want to get rid of it, or sorry that I bought it. I've made changes to some of the known "discrepancies" and kept on getting more smiles to the miles.
