If I weren't amused by how cranky I am right now I'd be really pissed off.  Flu turned in to bronchitis turned in to pneumonia.  Can't breathe worth a damn.  Ribs ache from coughing so much can barely walk standing upright.  If I cough while standing might just fall down and cry like a little girl.  No voice.  And everything tastes a little bit like brake fluid.  On top of that it snowed yesterday.  Frack .

Even beer doesn't sound good.  Or pizza.  This must be what hell will be like when I get there .

Tequila with lime and will be feeling better in 2 hours!!!

Sorry to hear you too are sick, just got back from the doctor and he said I joined the bronchitis club, although he was kind enough give me some cough syrup and some strong antibiotics

Cranky & Whiney.... that really sucks.  I had that bronchial and sinus crap a month or so back.  Coughed up stuff that looked like it could crawl away.

Thanks to everyone.  Especially for all the very good suggestions.  Since I trust everyone I think the obvious solution is to just use them all; together .  Except for maybe the brake fluid vaccine.  Believe me, stopping right now is not a problem. 

Harry, I'm a few days now in to the uber antibiotics.  Actually try to avoid antibiotics when it's likely viral but figured what the hell.  Knock down anything opportunistic and let the immune system have a full shot at whatever's left.  Along with the other suggestions above it's got to be good in combination!

Sorry to read that others have had similar crap.  Hope you all got as wasted medicated as I did last night.  Sleeping til 11:00 AM has to be good for something .

Regarding sleeping, Spiderman hit it right on about the Nyquill.

Only thing is you don't read the instructions.  Immediately discard the little cup, then chug as much as you can handle-sleep like a baby.

I can do the Nyquil pills.  But the liquid Nyquil is a problem.  Often for some reason it makes me hurl.  Immediately.  Convulsively.  Great at parties you want to escape from.  Not great when you're already not feeling well.

Might be.  But I bet it would screw up a coroner's brain trying to figure out what the hell happened.

For the first entire week of this bout that WAS NOT a problem here.  And thank the saints for the invention of the plastic trash can next to the toilet.  Multi-tasking is so annoying.  If the green goop would have helped that I'd have paid big bucks!

It won't help now, but when you get over this 8 ounces of Evan Williams ( mixer of your choice ) each evening will help you sleep and kill the nasty little germs. I am living proof 86%!
