This is Jim Kerr's INFAMOUS SERG...pretty much the PROTOTYPE for most of our "most excellent" mods.  The question is, what kind of windshield is that?  It looks like a stock height CV but I didn't think they offered in a dark tint :nixweiss:

Nice job on the lower fairings

Nice job on the lower fairings

Thanks, I love them.  The lowers have greatly extended my Chicago riding season. I can ride in the low 30's without any problem whatsoever.  My limit before getting the lowers was mid 40's.  The 110 engine puts out a lot of heat.  The lowers direct it right on the legs. Very nice!

Here's mine, picked her up Dec 31st.  You'll see I am partial to full touring gear, the "Ultra Glide" concept.  So far I have the toupak, saddle bag bra kit (needs to see some sun to flatten out), Dakota wireless antenna, HogTunes, saddle bag guards w/pouches, highway pegs,  small tinted Clearshield.   Been a cold wet week with rain/snow   so going nuts not being able to go out and ride yet!!

Looks good, I was wondering what a Vivid Black tour pack would look like on the O/B SERG... I think it works good, sure helps me, thanks.....

Your bike looks good, real good.  Can you post a pic of the back?  I haven't seen a king TP on the SERG's yet.

Only thing that seems to be missing is lowers.  Are you going to install them?

Very nice job on your bike.  It looks great!

It looks surprisingly good with the black TP!  Might be because of the saddlebag lid bras adding some black back there, though.

Nice-looking bike! :2vrolijk_21:

...and no reflectors.

How'd you get the saddlebag reflectors off without damaging the paint? I want to do the same.

Did I shave my head for this?

So, Larry... when you're only tool is a hammer, does every problem look like a nail?  :mango:

1. OK posting a few back side pics.    I like the way it turned out w/black pak, definately needed the bra kit to make it right for me.  Granted it is not as color matched as a vivid orange but works for me.

2. Reflectors - used a heat gun on low for a few minutes to soften up the glue, then had a pair of gloves on to grab the edge and they peeled off.  Heat up just a bit if any resistance.  I actually ended up on one using pliers with electrical tape wrapped around the jaws to protect bags to grab one that was a bit hot.  Used some soft soap with a small amount of "glu-gone" to lightly rub out the remianing adhesive.   Previous thread you will find recommends "skin so soft" (not kidding, search it) lotion for the rub out of glues but I did not have that.  Same way for the front fork ones.
