Yeah, lowers get hot in the summer.  I'm going to store mine when it gets warm out.  They work great when it's cold.  Riding in the 30's no problem.

Love your bike.  The black TP looks much better than I would have expected.  Awesome job!

Yes this is a CV GT Small with Recurve.  They don't offer it on their website, but John will custom make a Dark Gray for you.  The only catch is it is a custom order and you can't return it.  This shield is made out of the same material that they use for the short sport shield. 

Thanks Jim.  I didnt know that Clearview would do that shield.  I spoke to John today and ordered the same one.  I am still curious if the new 12" KW is any better than their older style.  Ted

Excellent!  Hope it works out for you.  I tried the 12" KW and wasn't happy with it.  I believe it was the new style.  Let us know what you think when you get it.

I have to admit that I purchased one of the CV GT Dark shields as well. I love the way it looks on your bike and was unaware that CV would make a dark shield in the GT size. I learn so much from this site.
