Respect that!  Could not you just save them?  (The parts that is.)  Here's my favorite shot (so far).  I assume you can see why.  :gorgeous:  Five points each... at least!

Hey Greg... Is that the 14 in. clearview windshield?  and what tint? Look`s good, and how well does it work?

For my 500th post:

On the issue of Hot Babes, here is my Aunt Mary.  84 years young.  Had her own HD and rode it throughout the 50's and 60's.  In 1951, she rode on the back of an HD from Van Nuys, CA to Daytona Beach, FL... and back!  This was before rear suspensions!  This pic was taken one half hour after we buried her husband of 50 some years.  At the conclusion of the service in Grass Valley, CA, I went to give her a hug and condolences.  Her reply, "Are we going for a ride now?"  Now that's a "biker!"

Reply #143 shows a 12" Klockwerks w/ light tint.  Works fine around town (5' 11").  Noisy on the ears because of shape but looks great.  Just ordered a Clearview GT small w/ light tint for longer rides / trips.

That's awesome... gotta love the pioneers that paved the road for us... especially the gals. Good for her!

That's one piece of the puzzle I gotta figure out... If I end up in Hawaii, it won't be as big an issue, since it isn't like I'll be going on any long rides... lol
I've been reading the windshield threads, trying to figure out which option to go with. I assume with the number of people who have more than one to fit the situation, they must be pretty easy to swap.

Klockwerks is the best looking.  Really fits the hotrod look of the bike.  Clearview comes with it's own hardware and is much better made (thicker.)  Very easy to swap.  Not obvious is that the hardware comes out with the windshield.  HD and Clearview use wellnuts to attach the windshield to the fairing.  To remove loosen but do not pull out wellnuts.  Loosen enough so that windshield comes off with wellnuts.  To install, first attach wellnuts to windshield, then insert wellnuts into fairing, then tighten.  (Took me a while and reading the shop manuel to learn).

Cee Baileys has all the Cool of the KW but with a better fit and greater buffeting protection, not jimmy buffeting. good company to work with. They have a file called the screamin hell file. due to some early fitment issues to the 09 SERG but that will be resolved in a week.

Carlos, where was that pic taken in post #137?  It looks like a cool little bungalow.  Where/how much per night?  The wife and I are planning on a trip down the east coast of Fla in May to Key West then back up the west/central way to I-75 & Home here in GA.  How long did it take you?  Dan

The place is called Island Bay Resort in Tavernier/Islamorada, $170+ a night, a great place for a couple, I highly recommend, the owner couple are perfectionists, super clean place...time wise you can't go by the miles in the Keys, speed limits go from 35 to 55 and lots of bars get in the way...I say go!!
