Bandit – how awesome it must be to ride in Switzerland.  I’m envious.  At what elevation were you when the picture was taken?

Around 6391 feet. The day before we made the Brünig-Pass (3003),
the Grimsel-Pass (7103), the Nufenen-Pass (8129), the Lukmanier-Pass
(6279) and the Oberalp-Pass (6706). A trip of about 240miles. It was
cloudy the whole day, about 15 miles from home, the rain hit us.

Bandit – those elevations are something a "flatlander" in Louisiana can only read about; our highest elevation is measured in hundreds of feet not thousands.  Thanks for the map depicting your route looks like you had fun.  Too bad it ended with rain; but like we say, it's not the destination but the experience that matters”.
May the road go on forever.

Great Scoots indeed!

I see in your signature, unless that's a mistake, that you use a Radial tire in the Rear, and a Bias Ply tire on the front? Is that correct? I'd look into that man. Highly not recommended! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Hoist I used a Radial 160/18 on the rear and a bias 140/18 on my SEEG for 3 years, NEVER a problem. Unless things have changed all new Big Dogs come bias/radial. Not sure where the wives tail got started but I ride two up a lot, always exceed the speed limit, we ride about 10K a year and can not figure out for the life of me what problem the bias/radial is supposed to create. Mileage is not the best on the Metzler 160 radial (about 9 - 10K) but you have to go with whats available and it was the biggest I could find that would fit the SEEG.

Very nice! Spent my first 2 years in the Air Force up in the Hunsrück, from 86-88. Wish I'd have my SERG back in those days!!
