 :orange: I spoke with Larry before Xmas and he mentioned he was going a road trip from the 23rd of dec until after the first of the year. He said he was going from Tenn to Texas to New Mexico and up to Arizona I believe and then back to South Padre Island Texas for new years and then back to Tenn.  I just called him at the house and only got the voice mail!  Yeah it has been kinda unusal without his input on the forum here!  Hope all is well!   :orange:

Thanks for the compliment :2vrolijk_21: I thought they would like good, but once I saw the new wheels on the SERG
I was thoroughly impressed. I'm getting ready to ride over to a friends house right now to have some new black powder coated Paul Yaffe 14" handlebars installed along with some heat demons. I'll post more pictures once the deed is done.

You going to black out all or most of the chrome? I did that to my silver 02 RG and it looked awesome....

I'm not sure how much chrome I'll black out...that's a good question. I guess I'll just take it one step at a time, with a pause and reflect on it. Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm really happy with my new wheels and I just hope I know when to stop and not over do it. My handlebars should be done tomorrow if all goes well.

UFO HOG, is that the Forest Hill bridge behind you in your photo? If so, I live maybe 25 miles from there down Salmon Falls road in El Dorado Hills. It's awesome bike riding country.

Here's a pic of my 02 after some of the black out work. I never finished it, stopped as soon as the SERG was ordered and sold most of the stuff on ebay.

Thanks for sharing....cool ride you had there.  :2vrolijk_21: Next, I'm trying to decide on whether or not to powder coat the crash bars or not. Even though Paul Yaffe hasn't adverstised them yet, he just came out with crash bars that match his handlebars and they come in both chrome and black. I almost order them last month and he said that would have been the first order he sold.
