This will be my first post, not even sure I'm getting this right but hear goes. I've had my 09 CVO Road Glide, Electric Orange and Black now about a week and I'm really jazzed about it. This site has provided allot of insight to many different issues, one of which I may have. I noticed fairly quickly a ticking sound coming from the top of the 110 motor. This may possibly be the tappets making contact with the rocker boxes. Are there any new 09 owners out there that have the same issue with the 2009 110 motor?

Welcome from south Florida and congratulations on a fine scooter.

The 110 make noises each a little different from the next.  My 09 cuse4 with synlube is not as noisy as my 07 was until I changed to Mobil V in the 07 but it still clattered...

I am over due on the fluid change on the 09 and wil post any differences in noise...This 09 sure has more tranny whine but that is what the stereo is for.   ;)
