Rumble collection
« on: December 04, 2008, 10:03:47 PM »

Have any of you been able to get extra pegs. I moved my passenger pegs to  my highway bars. now I need to replace the nostalgia pegs I have in there place, Or is there a way to do away with the passenger pegs/brackets all together and install some sort of filler for it. take you passenger footrest brackets off and youll see what Im talking about, and then let me know because I haven't a clue :o

Your dealership should have a parts schematic that they can identify the correct part numbers for the passenger footpegs.

HD does not sell the pegs complete, you need to purchase all the pieces individually. I installed a set for another member and can get the part numbers for you tomorrow. They are pricey to put together this way.

Larry, H-D is right. I've gone through the same process. I wanted the pegs for highway pegs. They're not available yet except as buying each individual part. It's considerable higher that way, so I decided to wait until the kit is available.

well then I will just have to wait it out and keep the nostalgia pegs at the rear. Since I ride solo al the time, it would be easier andcheaper to do away with whole bracket and figure a way to fill in the dead space. Drink Holder???

Is there a kit available yet?

Same here,   I was blown away to find out what it cost and what you had to order to match the passenger pegs.   It's a shame too.

I was thinking about buying the streamliner collection and at least they would be a little closer to the floorboard inserts.

I was at the dealership today, no kit yet. You have to buy all the parts seperatly at a cost of about $150 per peg.
