Harley XM Promo Code
« on: August 29, 2005, 02:14:32 PM »

Help! I already lost the paper which has the promo code for the 3 free months of XM. And it also had the 800 number you call in to activate. Anyone out there with the Harley XM option should have the promo code. I gues the promo is available across the board for anyone that buys the harley xm radio,

Thanks,
Jerry

I bought XM for my e-Glide about 8 months back and activated it on line at xmradio.com. Don't know about the promo code, but I wondered how that worked. BTW, you mentioned in a earlier post aboput looking for a led light for the tour pack, please post what you come up with. I have the same concerns as you about the lack of rear lighting on the CVO Ultra. I copied your part numbers for the Spoiler lights.
Thanks. Robert

The promo is for the hd advanced radio. When you buy the HD  XM module or if you buy the whole bike (in my case) that comes with XM they give you three month free trial.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I'll just tell them it's for a Harley and a 90 day free trial.

You would think that if you spend 30K plus, they would give you more than a $30 gift.  GM vehicles give at least 6 months and Onstar is one year.  XM probably gives HD millions to install their product, then HD gives us a $30 present.  I guess we should be happy to get anything free nowdays.  Jerry, you will need the serial # for the radio when you call.

Yea Jerry, If I remember right, you have to leave the radio on while they get you set up. Takes less than an hour and you're good to go. Think mine was about 20 minutes. The longer you subscribe, the cheaper the monthly $$ is.  I signed up for 2 years and it was about $200 plus.  Now I think it's a bargain, cause I haven't bought a CD since.  You'll love the XM, especially on trips.

Mine was activated at the time of purchase.  In 3 months I'll be adding it to my existing XM plan.  Never listen to AM/FM anymore, the MP3 CD's are nice for backroads though, the XM cuts in and out thru the trees.

Thanks . I found the code and got 3 months free with free activation as part of Harley purchase. Nice technology.
