WOOD PERFORMANCE Air filters
« on: December 06, 2008, 04:16:32 PM »

Anyone use these? A guy at the dealer today was talking about how good they are. Thought I would ask the pro's.  :2vrolijk_21:

I've used the KF325 (340 cfm) on a 120" Merch motor. It required the use of an 8" round air cleaner cover.  They are basically a K&N with a larger element that protrudes further out from the motor. Most have a reverse cone effect where the bigger diameter is furthest from the backing plate. The higher the flow rating, the further it protrudes from the motor. Zipper's offers a very similar product. At the end of the day the largest ones probably flow more air than your motor can use.
