Welcome from western NY.  The more I hear about the Rubies the more I want one.  I'm still in love with mine though and wouldn't part with her.  I'd have to win the lottery to have both.

I have been lurking here for a few months as I awaited delivery of my first CVO.  I'm a boomer, LEO, live in the central valley of CA, and looking at retiring in the near future.  I've put 30K miles on my '04 Heritage that I purchased new.  Those miles are mostly local rides and trips to the coast and Southern California, but I did manage to sneak in a really great trip to Sturgis in '06.  I took delivery of my '09 SEUC in red/maroon on Nov. 6.  I've had some minor issues, like the clutch fluid was contaminated and the nav system doesn't work (addressed elsewhere in this forum.)  I bought the extended warranty so I'm not worried about anything for foreseeable future.  I really like the CVO and hope to roll up the mileage in short order.  So far, I plan to keep both, although the Heritage hasn't seen much road time in the last few weeks.  I like this board.  It looks like there are some great folks with lots of good information, and one or two curmudgeons who keep things interesting.  Thanks for the time and hope to see you around!

Welcome to the site fourstar. We've got several LEO who are open about it and some that aren't. Glad to see you post it right up front. My attitude is if you wear the badge be proud of it. Hope you make it to one of our "gatherings" and meet the folks. We're an interesting collection of oddballs for sure  LOL.

Welcome from Canada, eh!

You're going to love your new bike, but don't part with the Heritage... I have a '91 (pictured below) that I purchased new and when I bought a new '97 Ultra the Heritage had 44K on it.  After a while of riding the Ultra so much I wasn't riding the Heritage often - just on very nice days for short rides.  I kept thinking, why am I keeping this old bike as I hardly ever ride it???  However, everytime I get on the ol' girl, I say to myself "I can never sell this beauty!"

The Ultra went out the door (with 194K on it) back in '05 when I purchased my first SEEG and now I have an '08 SE Anniversary that I love!  And the beautiful Heritage is now up to 47K and I still love it!

Keep the Heritage and enjoy riding both.  You won't regret it.  Otherwise, when it's gone, you'll probably never have another like it.

Take care & ride safe,
Grizzly
