Just a thought about the passenger boards being extended...I had a buddy that had the one and only bolt that holds the pax board break when his wife was getting on (not a big lady at all).   I do suspect that maybe the bolt had gotten loose and he did not catch it...but just to point out IT is a single bolt and now that it is longer...
Just a thought and a reminder to use some thread lock on those bolts and keep them tight.

Wbrinker:  They look great!! Which part numbers did you go with?

The passenger relocators are the same for the 2009 touring bikes,  no difference in the CUSE4 and the CU.  The part number for the passenger relocators is the following:

Chrome :  9209FL-PASS-EXT-CHRM-HDF
Black    :  9209FL-PASS-EXT-BLK-HDF

The wife said that her feet felt like she was turning them into the bike,  wanted to slip off to the side.  Now since the floorboards have been relocated out 1".  She says they are a lot more comfortable. Her feet seems to stay on the floorboards now,  except when I kinda roll on it,  they seem to slip backwards then.  HA HA

They look great, how did it affect your lean angle? I want to put them on my RK, my AC sticks out an 1" farther than stock, would really help, but I have already ground some of the stock supports off on the asphalt.

If you put the boards out 1" they are going to drag sooner...the only reasonable answer to that is to grab a hand full of throttle pull hard on the handlebars and get your front wheel in the air...this should give you some more ground clearance for your floor boards.   :huepfenlol2:
Of course if you get it wrong there will be a whole lot of scrape'n metal.
Maybe you just need to add to the two wheeled stable...get some hockey pucks for your knees and you will have another reason to smile.
Tell the wife you had to get another motorcycle so you don't ruin the floorboards on this one.
It never works for me but I still keep tryin'
Good Luck

I had the same depth issue on my SERK with the oversized HPI A/C assembly Craig. I used the Kury 1" extensions. My knee still leans against the A/C, but my feet are straight on the floorboards now. Had em on for 2 years now. Never noticed any adverse effects to lean angle. But I also raised my bike up to stock RK height. ;)

Yea, I like the low look, so I'm willing to suffer with the scrapes as is, but I guess I'll just have to keep the boards where they are. Need all that lean angle I have.

HeHe! So wadda ya worried about Craig? They fold! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

An inch higher suspension makes a big difference in lean angle. But with that, I didn't really notice losing anything with them, and I scrape mine too. Might affect the lowered suspension more though. :nixweiss:

Get the $2000 footboard extentions. They come with 13" bitubos and 1" taller Traxxion AK-20 fork legs! ::) ;D ;D ;D ;)

I've tried to scrape the FLHR since I added the extenders.  Haven't done it.  Must not be trying hard enough.   :huepfenjump3:
They have added plenty of room.  I can tell already they're gonna be nice on the green bike with that BHAF.  No more knee knockin'.

Dude, you need to get rid of your floorboards altogether.  They are just in your way.  You just need to find a way to extend your rear brake lever up to the highway pegs, and go to a hand shifter and you'll be all set. :P

I wish they folded! It's a little scary scrapping them the first times. Ruins a nice chunk of chrome too!

Not the floorboards but the floorboard supports. By the time they start scrapping, the boards fold far enough to push off your foot, rather exiting!

Yessir!  That's true.  Wouldn't mind it so much on the FLHR, but I haven't made it scrape yet.  I'm on my second set of of floorboards on the SEUC tho'.
