steering head bearings loose. i've been through this myself on the 08 & 09.


my guess anyhow.

try the swing test in the manual. i got 6 er so on the 09.

Yep... my 08 SG did that... annoying as F*

Dealer took care of it... TWICE. Seems the fall-away tension has to be checked with the clutch cable disconnected or the tension on the neck bearings may be too loose as a result.
