PS: Do we have some statistics to show how many of the 7k are fairly active?

This is my estimation from watching most of what goes on here. These are not official statistics mind you, just my take on things. Gotta be pretty realistic though.

There are about 500 members with 100 posts or more, most of whom participate often or are logging on regularly. There are about 250 with 50-100 posts. About half of them are active and/or log on regularly. There are about 300 with 25-50 posts. They're here somewhat regularly and contribute occasionally. There are about 2400 with 1-25 posts. They seem to be here on and off and sometimes pop in with a post, mostly to ask for help or sell something. The remaining 3500 members either lurk, or have signed on and never returned. I'm still amazed at how many people joined back in '02/'03 and still log on regularly, even though they still have 0 posts!

7000 people who've learned more from one site then from all the managers who've ever graced the halls on Juneau avenue....  Thanks Neil.  I finally got the finances straight and hit the old donation button at the top towards a new p36 explosive space modulator for you.  Hopefully some of the other 7000 can find a few coins to help the cause.

Thanks Obi Won for creating this great site.  7000 members is a feat that you should be very proud of.  This is the only online forum that I log on to as I've found that I can find out information on just about everything here.  Thanks again to you and the mods for making all this happen.

That is a very good picture of the activity on the site, Thanks. In summary, I guess, we're just shy of around a 1,000 active members. That is a tremendous result for a site like this!

Quality always comes through.You guys are the best and the numbers show it.As a little icing on the cake and a tribute to all your hard work is the KNOWING that "YOU KNOW WHO" is also checking in! Personally, I love the look on the dealers employees face when I ask a question, get the standard answer, then hit them with something that I've picked up here.
