A couple of things have become quite noticeble of late regarding member Hoist AKA Howie AKA - - well we can't use that kind of language on the site can we ?

A) His posts are increasingly sounding like stuff the Moderators say

B) It says "Monster" under his name in his avatar

Now I'm thinking that Obi-Won offered Hoist a Moderator position but somehow Hoist couldn't wrap is twisted mind around the concept of being referred to as a Moderator, so they created the title of "Monster" for him and his is in fact now a Moderator, but with a special title. As additional evidence beyond the tone of his posts, I offer the tidbit he let slip recently in which he mentioned Naitram letting him "try out the moderator software "

C'mon Brian.  You know better than that.  Moderator is like Supreme Court Justice.  Lifetime appointment.  Thank God no one has died.  But until they do Howie can't take the job.  Now he's just the hair apparent .

Now you're just poking fur for the holidays.  Our friends upstairs can run with the gags too.  They used to do it more but they still can.  Did you know that Naitram actually mans the computer that runs site on Christmas day dressed as a Santa's helper?  Just for us!

Was trying to think of a good response but Ernie nailed it.

If having a name on your avatar gets you some kind of glory or clout then "chithead" would be on mine.

I guess this post is some kind of politicking for change, but from my viewpoint I see no need for any changes.

I like the system just like it is and have realized from experience that Neal is much wiser than his years tell.

Again, I like the system just like it is and will support Neal and the mods for all their efforts in a thankless job!
