Where to buy Bitubo's or Progressive 440's
« on: December 22, 2008, 06:37:44 AM »

Any suggestions on where to purchase Bitubo's suspension for an 08 CVO UC. Also considering Progressive 440's--anyone had both, if so, which one would you recommend. Stock shocks just not doing it. Ride two up most of the time. Once completed, Traxxion will be the next stop.

Traxxion sells the Bitubo's.  Many prefer the Bitubo's because of their greater adjustability (over the 440's).

I had 440 on for a month while my legend air ride were repaired. Now have the bitubo. Would never go back! More positive input from BSR confirms that ride quality is better in combination with traxxion front end! john

Either are significant improvements over the stock Showa pieces.  Have Bitubos on the SEEG and Progressives on the SERG right now.  Both are fine and do a satisfactory job.  The Progressives will bottom out when the bike is loaded and the Bitubos have far more adjustability to tweak the ride to your tastes.

I sure like my bitubos. Both of my 440s were leaking but they did repair them free

Bitubos ROCK!  Order 'em from Traxxion Dynamics............and make arrangements to have them install AK-20 cartridges in your forks.  Best mods I've done!  You won't be sorry.   :2vrolijk_21:

I bought a set of Bitubo's to put on my 04 SEEG that I have Progressives 440's on right now and the 440's are a great jump over stock. I am hoping the Bitubo's are that much better!!! What is a good starting point to start with all the settings on the Bitubo's and then start to fine tune from there? :confused5: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

ill ck mine but it depends on how much you weigh and if you solo or have a rider. first thing you do is set the preload after that you can monkey with the settings. i think full travel without bottoming out is the goal. it was all discussed earlier - do a search i sure like mine :bananarock:

I'm looking at either new shocks or a new bike... and I gotta think that shocks are more cost effective...

So what should one expect to pay for these Bitubo's?

And I'm going to go ahead and ask... what about the Legend shocks... better, same, completey different?

Well if these guys sell them, they sure don't make it easy to find on the net...

Your link within this sight is more helpful, but dated... I'll call (old school) Monday
