Hello from cold Michigan.
« on: December 22, 2008, 09:50:48 PM »

Hello everyone, what a great forum this is. I have already learned alot from reading your posts. I just bought a 09' Softail Springer CVO, this is my first street bike and I am so looking forward to riding it, But as you know it is freezing here in MI (11 degrees as I type). Hope we get an early spring this year. Anyways, Thanks for the great site.

Welcome from Djibouti. NIce looking bike. Not gonna tell what the weather is like hear it will just get you down further, lets suffice it to say that that the coldest it gets here during the year is a nice summer day for you. But at least you can go look at your bike and imagine what its going to be like when it warms up. I have to wait until February to get back home and then hope the weather will support some ride time. Again congrats on the new ride.

Welcome from Alabama, where this morning we're experiencing a heat wave of 32 degrees.  Yesterday morning it was 12 degrees.  You know it's cold in Alabama when you go outside to start the diesel, and on the way out, your hair freezes, and when you put the key in the ignition, it takes better than 30 seconds for the heater grid light to go out, and when you start it, it cranks slow, finally catches and goes immediately to to 1000 rpm.  That's cold........in Alabama.

I hate winter.
