My dad had picked up a 50cc bridgestone that didnt run and had it in the shop. When I asked him whos it was he told me mine if I could get it running. Ahhhhhhh the 70's were great years. my ole "skeeter fogger"  ;D

My first bike was a 1953 panhead, that I bought back in 1974 as a basket case.
Then a 1968 shovel no pictures of either. just the memories

The Bridgestone 50 Sport was my first new bike and I rode the daylights out of it.  My dad had gotten the dealership for Bridgestone in '66 and I enjoyed that so much.

Everyone wanted to know what the BS on the tank stood for.   :) :) :)

Nice ride.  I'm sure you have many fond memories of that bike.

My 1st bike in grade school was a Benelli Dynamo 65cc. Sold it to my neighbor and bought a SL125 Honda to ride to school and then some trails after school. Got the CL360 Honda Scrambler my senior year. After that I started riding my brothers Harleys when they went into the service.  :2vrolijk_21:

You guys were way, way too affluent.  Us poor country boys started off on the bottom  - Cushman Highlander motor scooter, lol.  First 'real' motorcycle was a Suzuki 80cc something or the other when I was in the military.

Mustang motorcycle - 1953 - just like this except a lot more beat up.  Had a great time on it though, until it ran through a neighbor's fence with me on it. I think I paid 25 dollars for it.

yeah, somewhere.......I'll look for 'em.  That was my 1st NEW vehicle of any kind.....think it was a  '65 model.  I'd had used bikes and cars, but I finally bought a new vehicle.  And 1st bike with a electric start.  Very bulletproof in all regards.  Before that it was BSA and old HOGs.  :-[ har!   :drink:spyder
