Maybe this needs to go "off topic" because it's not a CVO.  I just couldn't do it.  What with all the hoopla over the CVO RG, best I could ever hope for would be MSRP.  With the deals on stock 09's I could almost buy 2 stock for the price of 1 CVO.

So that's it, I pulled the trigger on a VIVID BLACK with ABS.  With the extra coin I can have fun making this one my own.

Thanks for all your ideas along the way, I learned a lot.  Will you kick me out if I don't ride a CVO?

Here you go!  Rode it home today -- first ride since 10/17.  Felt GREAT (except my knee hurt like heck).

These 09's are NICE.  Completely stable, no wobbles on sweepers, VERY VERY steady & sure.  And the motor, so far, plenty of low end tq.  Only 54 miles, but knock on wood this is a great bike.

Was about to ask if you'd had a chance to put any miles on it then I see these last few posts.

And now you see what Chip and I have been saying about the way the 09s handle in comparison to earlier baggers.  Just an incredable difference.

See you in Solvang in the spring! :2vrolijk_21:
