Players give departing coach new Harley

RENTON -- Several times in the past few weeks, outgoing Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren has been asked what he planned to do next year during his sabbatical from the NFL.

Riding his motorcycle was always at the top of his list.

His players wanted to make sure Holmgren had a fitting ride, so they presented him with a fully dressed 2009 Harley Davidson Screamin' Eagle after practice Friday -- his final practice as Seahawks coach, and the team's last workout before Sunday's season finale against the Cardinals in Arizona.

Holmgren was so dumbstruck by the gesture you could have run him over with, well, a much smaller, less expensive bike/

Mike is a cool cat and I didn't know he was leaving coaching! He will be missed! Top notch guy received a top notch scooter! Looks good on it too. :2vrolijk_21:

Why not, he couldn't mess up a great team any better'n the guy you got now. I'd have bet the farm that The Pack would go AT WORST, 10-6 this year. What the hell happened up there. It's like San Diego north or something.

Green Bay is 5 W and 10 L this year - with 8 losses by 4 points or less...  Most of these losses they were leading going into the 4th quarter.  Young coach and rookie quarterBack....  They have not yet learned how to close out a game...   :(
