Heres a good one! Was at the dealers yesterday and was told that I broke the law by taking off the reflectors from the sides and front of bike, they meet D.O.T standards. Do not think I will be getting a ticket soon.  Doc

  Removing the reflectors was the first thing I did when I pulled in to my garage.  A couple days later a sheriff pulled me over looking for my registration.  Gave me chit for not having it taped to the bike (dumba$$!).  Next he asked if my bike came with reflectors...yep...  He wanted to know if the dealer removed them.  Nope, on the way home they fell off!  I think he just wanted to look at the bike cuz I did not get any tickets.
