Wow, what a year and where did it go! It seems to me the older I get the faster life goes by. This year was a good year for our family as it continues to grow in number. My youngest son got engaged on Christmas and will be getting married the 27th of June, 2009. We battled some storms in life but nothing that we couldn't overcome with Gods help. Thank you Lord!
Our CVO family is growing too! This has been wonderful year for us too. Thanks Neal!
This family has experienced ups and downs too. We had some members go through a loss of a loved one. We all were reminded and brought back to what is most important to us. We have shown love and compassion when a member was in need. That, I believe is what makes this place a special place to a part of. I have been blessed by the members I have got to meet at our GTG. We seem to learn from our mistakes and enjoy the many different personalities that make up the people of this site. I love to laugh and this site provides plenty of opportunities for that. But I'm also not afraid to cry and I have had opportunity for that too. Some of those were tears of joy.
As we close the books on 2008 let us reflect and give thanks to God for all He has blessed us with. As we approach the New Year, may we know this year will have it's challenges. Some say it is going to be a bad year. I know from past experiences, those times in my life have brought me closer to God. Is that a bad thing? For me I have been blessed abundantly. So brothers and sisters of this wonderful site, I wish you a Happy New Year! From my heart I pray that all your dreams are fulfilled this year. If things don't seem to going your way know that God knows your needs and wants you to have them. Be patient as His timing is perfect as He is perfect and His timing may not always align with yours but His love and grace is sufficient in all things.
