The detachable tour pac kit from HD will have the relocation hardware for the antenna.

I used the hidden antennae in the fairing to avoid relocation issues,

This is a question I have had also and am surprised to read that the relocation kit is included with the mounting kit.
Is this really the case or did I read wrong?
Where does it relocate to, what does that look like?
I am planning to use a tune trapper for the cleaner look but am curious ...included? isn't that against some MOCO religous rule?

The relocation kit is a separate kit.  Everywhere in the parts catalog it says you need it.  The problem is that it is made for the regular RG's.  The main bracket fits right in the middle of the left tail light on the SERG.  The bad part is that you need the rest of the parts to make it detachable.  I had to bend the original L bracket slightly to allow the barrel adapter to fit.  You also have to loosen the original assembly to get more threads out of the top to get the barrel adapter to seat.
I thought about this before and got a electronic antenna and installed it in the fairing to do away with the rear but 1) i received excessive noise from (of all things) the brake system.  When I put on the brakes I would get buzzing.  It was weak where it should have picked up.  I soldered a new ground for the shield but it did not help.  I used the Dakota Digital which came recommended.  2) Holes are pre-drilled for the antenna mount on the tour pack.  Gave some thought as to how to cover up but did not come up with a happy solution.  I thought of using Silicone sealant, tape the outside, fill it and when dry, remove the tape.  Then use touch up paint to match.  I said the hell with it and used the HD kit.

I used the Tune Trapper hidden antenna and it works well, here's a link: http://www.ecshylites.citymax.com/catalog/item/604191/721930.htm

I used the Tune Trapper as well, but I also installed a Motorola Type Y-Adapter that enabled me to keep the rear antenna connected as well.  This helped with AM & WB reception and improves FM when you are riding away from the transmitter.  The small bullet antenna pictured above would work fine with this setup.  I just cut the original antenna down and capped it with a vac line cap.  It works very well and was cheap.

Here's the link to the Y-Adapter:

I'm also attaching a pic of the antenna.  I don't have a better one at the moment.  What I like about this is it is that the black antenna is well hidden and it works perfectly with the TP installed or removed.

Ah ha. Now I know why they included an extra antenna when I took delivery. Those smart guys knew I'd be cutting one in half to fit when I bought the $1,200 t. pak.

Cutting the antenna is much better solution than using the relocation kit.  The kit requires that you drill your $1200 tour pack to mount the antenna.  Antennas can be changed easily; however, you cannot un-drill a hole or repaint the TP to cover them up (paint is not a resale item).  The short antenna works ok, but adding the Tune Trapper works as well, or better, than the OEM antenna.

Most excellent Jim. when the t. p. gets here I'll trim the existing to fit and go from there. Got several things to do under the fairing and I'll split the cable while I'm there. 'Preciate it.

The holes are NOT pre-drilled in the TP.  You will only have to drill it if you install the antenna relocation kit.  In fact, all holes, including the ones for the mount, need to be drilled.

UFO
What other parts did you need to purchase to mount that billet antennae?   How is the reception?
