Carry Over
« on: December 30, 2008, 04:49:55 PM »

Had some oil in the A/C and the oil level is good so decided to do some mods to the A/C and vent the breathers to ground and get rid of the stuff I do not want to go into my engine. Took some Pics of the mods. sorry if this has been posted before.  Doc

In this one I drilled and taped the breather to the intake with 1/4 x 20 set screw using red lock tite it should never come out.

I was looking back and came across this pic from Iglde. When I was doing my A/C mods I realized I did not have the black plate that hides the wires and throttle motor, Anyone else see this on their 09 bike, I have a Nov. build date , wonder if they did a running change?  Thanks Doc

Question for those that have had thier A/C off, What does this plate do and what is it attached to, and is it needed?  Thanks Doc

Looking at this black plate now, I do not believe my A/C mod would work the way I have it, would have had to go over to top of the A/C.   Doc

The plate is part of the Heavy Breather kit.  It does not come standard on the SERG factory breather.
