Woke up this morning and checked the temperature. It was 22 degrees!
I went out to get the paper and it was a beautiful sunny day...but a tad chilly!
Made a pot of coffee and got dressed for the ride. Checked the temp again and it was up to 23, whoo hoo! I met Phaze (Preston) on his new RG, MJZ (Mark) on his Springer, Paul and Gary on their RG at Perkins for breakfast. It was a nice brisk 20 minute ride to the restaurant but I was nice and cozy with my heated gear on! Why did I wait so long???
Enjoyed a nice time of fellowship with the guys and MJZ showed us some pics he took from his trip from Costa Rico. He flew in last night. We then headed downtown to the river to meet the hog group and watch the idiots
water ski! We meet up with Ultrafxr (Jerry) and his lovely bride J Carolyn. Paul said we ought to stop by a friend of his and show me his garage full of scooters. I'm glad we did, it was awesome. His name is Ed Dacus and his son's race and build their own cars and just got a new shop and trailer. Dane is his youngest son and drives. They race on a dirt track I believe its a 50 lap race. Enjoy my day, I sure did. By the way it warmed up nicely somewhere in the 40's I would say. Well here we go. I will post the pics and go back and comment. First picture is MJZ.
