Yep, Henry, had 'em come loose on the SEEG also, but caught it in time.  They get a lot of use...those latches.  ;) spyder

Sorta startled me.  I was wonderin' what in the heck I've broken now..........I've been breaking lots of my stuff lately............must be on the low end of my biorhythm curve.   :huepfenlol2:

Certainly seems feasible tho', that these things would work loose.  So now I'm inclined to check every single nit-noid fastener on the bike.  Will also check the purple bike when she comes home..........betcha there's screws loose or missing.

No big deal tho'.  Not even a beer's worth of time.

Acquired five like fasteners and put everything back together with loctite............and then did the other side.  Good to go!

Shameless picture included.   :)

Henry

As much as I hate to do it, I must.

When I posted pictures showing the trailer and the left side of my bike what did I hear?

Looks great but where is the chrome belt cover and chrome sprocket cover?

You getting my drift?

:ROFLOL:

I knew it!  And I knew you were gonna be the one, Chip.  I knew it when I was taking that picture.   ;D

The lack of those two items never nags at you until you get a 2 into 1 exhaust.  Same thing happened with the 02 Ultra, but with it, the sprocket at least had the black powdercoat to contrast against the anodized rim surface.  Needless to say............it got a chrome belt guard quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Chrome belt guard is on order.

I'm REALLY thinking about avoiding a sprocket cover and going with a chrome sprocket.  Covers mean dirt and grime between the cover and the business unit, and nothing good comes of that.  I've delayed that decision until I get closer to needing a back tire, since that would be the most economical time to git-r-dun.

I got a "no" immediately followed by a "why, who's wife allowed them to do that!"

BTW, thanks, Henry. I checked both bags and I'm good to go.

Well I wanted to say something sooner but had a feeling you were already on it.

Here's the plan on mine,

1)  Chrome belt cover.

2)  Have already talked with the painter, going to paint the sprocket silver. He said no problem.

Like you though, the sprocket work will wait till tire time!

Will check all the hinges Monday.

Thanks Buddy!

I think I missed something, Chip.  Are you going to paint your existing belt cover, or the chrome belt cover, silver in lieu of a chrome cover?  That sounds interesting..............a green belt cover!

OK, I fixed my post!

A green belt cover and a green sprocket.

I went back and looked, that might be very interesting!
