New to CVO

Hello everyone!  As titled I am new to the CVO Forum.  It has been snowing alot here in the NW and I was getting a little cabin fever so I drove the cage to the local shop for a visit.  I had no plans to buy a bike yesterday or anytime soon.  As I own (clear title) a beautiful 2006 FXSTS with custom paint, wheels, big bore kit etc.  Anyway, I went down to the bike storage to look at a friends new used bike and I saw the 2009 SERG (FLTRSE3) Orange and Black!  As I said I had no plans to buy a bike and they only received this on the 2nd of January, so it wasn't even completely detailed.  To make a long story short I threw caution and common sense out the door traded in my nicely customized 2006 FXSTS for a SERG.  I can't say I got any great deal or cuts off the invoice, I can say I was pleasantly raped on the trade-in, but it was my Birthday on the 31st and I have a bike that is more suitable to the riding I do in the environment of the Northwest.  When, I get some photo's I will drop in and post them.

Welcome to the site and if you got that puppy in Bellingham, you're welcome.  Well, at least it was there because I had to make the hard decision not to get it.

Has to be the best looking SERG IMO.

Well thank you! As I said they got it on the 2nd, I got it on the 3rd.  Not too many people knew it was there...

Welcome! Glad to have you here. I'm still waiting on my '09 SERG in Silver/Titanium. Should be here in late Feb or early March. Everytime someone says they just got theirs, I turn green with envy. Never mind that I almost bought a '09 Yellow/Charcoal SERG last week. In the end, though, I couldn't picture myself riding around in/on that much yellow. Just not my color.

So, I wait... not so patiently...  :drink:
