Those pistons are 95",but it's all relative.
Most of the MoCo CAST pistons have the same problem,110" included.
As you mill,use thin head gaskets,etc.,you change the area of approach valve to piston.The valve pockets need to be moved back toward the cylinder bore(spread).The cast pistons were close to being a problem from the start.
Time for some donut holes. ;D

The 110" cast stock pistons have a bigger pocket {radius} and are futher out. I have milled .040+ on several 110s with stock pistons and Cometic .030 hg with NO problem , BUT now I am going to bigger intake valves { 2.120} so we will see. Good thing about the Andrews 32H cams is that they have low TDC lift. .131 - .120  Just checked the NEW head gaskets from H-D   16801-07B  and they are .055 ,  don't know what they are when tq'd ? Maybe .050 ? Dewey   ps. anybody want them,as they are going in the trash where they belong !!!!!  Rode my 1971 Honda 350 SL today before Gunsmoke ,life is good . Saw a bumper sticker today { Miss my ex-wife , But , my aim is getting better }

1st of all , DO NOT USE ,the STOCK REPLACEMENT HEAD GASKETS. you need squish my freind.  .028- .032 is good. Remember ,your cyl. GROW !  When you start with .055 and your pistons sit 'below' the 'deck'  .005 = .060 and the cyl. grow .040+  =.100 + thats big enough to hide a doughnut in , YES. Use the Cometic .030 hg and tq. down to Cometic specs ! 'Mill'  {flycut} .030 off of your heads , any local machine shop can do this { around $50} and that will give you 'around' 10 - 1 comp. and with the 251 cams , HANG ON  !  Enjoy your doughnut ,ahh ,I mean ride. Dewey  ps. whoever is 'cutting' your seats, {4 angle,whatever} tell them to hit the 'bottom' of your stem protusion  {1.990-2.024} so shoot for 1.990 , because you don't want to sink the valve any further than you have too. Valve stem protusion is very important. I think I just heard 'Miss Kitty'

Dewey,

Why mill the heads?  Why not deck the cylinders to 0" and go with the the .030" head gasket?  Is the problem that this doesn't bring the squish down tight enough, .025-.030"?

Also isn't the stock cam on the CUSE3 the 251?

A few weeks back my dealer was going to assemble my scooter with the head, which by the way they've had since October 08.

Long story short they finally broke it down in December 08.  I had the pistons Teflon coated and ceramic coated on the tops.  Well they pull the heads out of the box and noted that they knocked together in transit.  I was contacted and asked, "Would I be willing to accept the damaged heads on the cycle?"  "It's only cosmetic on the fins, come on in and look at them."  I said absolutely NOT.  They ordered new heads and... get this new cylinders as they noted paint was flaking from the factory ones.  I asked if they're putting in new rings too?  Haven't heard yet.  He did tell me my heads are back ordered until March 09.  DAMN....  I've got an entire SS grooved bolt package to install.

No, I won't consider it puting new cylinders on with out new rings.  I'll use the same pistons but not the rings.  And granted the rings weren't even broken in on the other cylinders, inspected them myself.
