Anybody ever heard of, seen, or better yet, used this stuff. It looks pretty decent and seems more reasonably priced than some other stuff I've looked at. I don't need metal cabinetry, so this plastic stuff might be the ticket. Trying to find out about the quality of this stuff! Thanks gang! :2vrolijk_21:

OK meaning so-so, or OK meaning good? Do they need to beinstalled on studs, or can the go directly on a block wall garage? Thanks Mike! :2vrolijk_21:

ok so-so for strength, I use them for corrosion resistance which, duh, they are good.
They can attach either way, just be sure that the load bear is equal, no hangy downs spots, you know what i mean? An be nice to the doors, the hinges is a plastic pin too...

I'll post another link here when I find it bro, hang on...

Hi Hoist!
That system looks similar to the organizers I got through this company - garage concepts. They have just about any solution for garage organization, cabinets, whole wall systems or just strips to hang bins, shelves, hooks etc. You can see my garage on their "garage of the month" page.

Holy crap Dave! That's some garage renovation ya did! Looks fantastic!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Did you have a contractor redo yours, or DIY? How's the pricing on their stuff? I looked at a bunch of metal cabinet mfrs. They were very expensive. Didn't want to go nuts. (Like I do on my bikes! ::) ) Just clean it up and organize it a lil. If you have any other details, maybe you can PM me if it's too much or too personal to post. Thanks for sharing that! Great job man!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for the compliment. Since I was recovering from heart surgery I knew I would never be able to shovel out the stuff in my garage and didn't know how much or what style organizing stuff I would need.
This guy at Garage Concepts came out and designed the whole thing for me, then they moved everything out into my driveway and I sorted out the keep, toss or donate piles of stuff. Garage Concepts did all the labor except the trash hauling. They arranged for 1-800-got-junk to come out and haul that away. (1-800 got junk  were so reasonable i used them to clean out my attic several months later -they don't charge for labor just by amount of stuff hauled)
From the gutted garage to finished product Garage Concepts handled everything. Buying and installing lights, window blinds, flooring and all the cabinets, benches etc.. Only thing I ordered myself was the mini fridge. They even set that up for me. They then brought in all my stuff and put it away for me. It took 2 1/2 day to do the remodel.
I don't know what the individual prices for the cabinets and organizer shelves, bins etc. were right now. They were the Gladiator series.
I went this way so that if and when I ever move all of the work benches, cabinets and storage units can be rolled out of the garage and taken to the new garage. I could even lift up the floor if I wanted to also.
Good luck with your remodeling! :2vrolijk_21:

I don't know what you have for home improvement stores there, but Menard's here in the Midwest sells cabinets by Rubbermade that are what appears to be coated MDF.  You have to assemble them, but it's simple.  They can be wall-mounted or on the floor.  They have black sides with silver doors and metal trim including locks and reasonably are priced.

Nice job Dave  :2vrolijk_21: I have seen Gladiator advertised sale prices here locally. That's not been the case traditionally. Sign of the economy maybe?? If you look around Howie there are some good deals right now!!

Thanks for all the replies here. Good stuff. The Gladiator stuff has always been a lil pricey for what I'm lookin to do. The garage is kinda ghetto now. I'm looking to move up a few steps from ghetto, but not to the Upper East Side! CVO's in a Tenement Garage!!! ;D ;)

Dave, your garage came out great. Also prolly our of my budget! Would ya mind if I ask how much ya spent total? Ya can PM me if ya like. :2vrolijk_21:

I never heard of Menard's. But Rubbermaid should be readily available. I'll have to look into it. Got any pics of what ya did Gecko? Thanks! :2vrolijk_21:

HeHe! A 10 grand garage is TWO Triumph Thruxton's! Gotta keep my priorities straight here. I'd rather have bikes than a fancy garage to put em in. Actually, it'd be nice to have both, but I'd rather have the bikes, if I have to choose, which I do!!! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
