It's a cop bike.  A very nice looking cop bike with lots of things added.  But it's not a CVO bike of any kind.  He may be confusing the fact that it's got a 103 engine with it being a CVO.  Or he my be entirely disingenuous.  We can't know.  But it's not a CVO.  Ran it's VIN and it's also got a factory recall outstanding.  Needs to have an ABS brake line replaced.

The bike is a 2006 ELECTRA GLIDE STANDARD POLICE (EFI) - FLHTPI, hence no CVO. Actually the '06 CVO's were already Ultra's in 2006 ('04 and '05 were Standard's). I think the bike is a nice opportunity for someone looking for a "different" ride. The 103 engine was great, no trouble in '06. I also like the old fashioned logo on the tank. The "AMF" style Harley-Davidson on the Tourpack is a little bit weird, but easy to change. All in all an interesting offer, has many extras and was practically never put to use.

Ride safely,
Louis

There's nothing CVO about that bike.  It has the standard 103 police engine.  The only question I have is how did a guy in NJ end up buying a new CHP police bike?  :nixweiss:

The internet Devil.. I have seen many adds of bikes for sale and with a little research, found out they were a long way from their original location.
I was actually told at one time the MOCO sold certain CVO colors in certain geographical regions.  I looked far and wide before I found my copper SEFB.

As most of us already know, there are quite a few "people" selling bikes with dubious reputations.  Quite a few really believe if they add a "Screamin Eagle" part it becomes a Screamin Eagle or CVO bike.  You can see that all day on Ebay.  Just look at how many still spell "Screamin" with a "G", they don't even know what they have....As we have all learned "Buyer Beware"
