I have both purchased and not installed yet.
The dealer checked with MOCO and they said the spoiler will work.  If not why would they paint SE colors.
I have not seen anything in the book where the orginizer will not work.  If you could please list where it says that in the book.

I sure miss my lid organizer on the old Ultra.  The danged leather TP on the '06 won't work but now you got me thinkin' I better get one for the "nanner", Cindy loved that thing for all her glasses and other junk. ::)

I don't think it's supposed to fit due to the bolts from the luggage rack, wires running through there for the remote locks, and the spoiler is just one more thing to get in the way of getting it to stay in place.  I would think that someone out there has worked around it.  Do those things just velcro into place or what?

The lid organizer fits in my 08 SEUC. It took some creative thought and allot of post's on this site to figure out how to make it stay but it works and is a great asset. 8) 8)

I have the lid organizers in my '05 SEEG, and While I do like the places to store the little crap that yo gotta have with you, it is a PITA to keep them up and attached to the lid!  :-\

I will probably get them for my new SEUC when it arrives! I will just have to do a better job of attachment!  8)

If the organizer keeps dropping down try a better adhesive and use the luggage rack bolts to assist in keeping it attached to the underside of the lid.

With these things, I've always found the supplied/pre-applied adhesive tape works loose from the organizer, but stays put to the tour-pak and saddlebag lids.  I end up getting some really good MIL-SPEC adhesive, cleaning everything, cutting reliefs in the organizer where needed, and reattaching.  That cured it on my 02 Ultra.  Just gotta do it to the saddlebag lid organizers on the SEUC.  Leather tour-pak is nice...........but..........really miss the tour-pak organizer.

I punched hoes in the organizer backing and used the bolts for the top rack to secure it. Works fine
Did not use the tape on the backing at all

I did the same, used the spoiler and luggage rack bolts, as well as the tape, to hold mine up.  THe tape still eventually came loose, but the bolts held it.  It was a pain getting the holes done and tightening the bolts, but you only do it once, so it's not that bad.

I think the problem with the lid organizer on a SEUC is the electric lock actuator.

I bought the lid organizer, but did not install.  When I looked it over, it looked to me that you would need to modify the lid organizer - by cutting off the pocket where the lock actuator is.

I've seen these on several bikes and the storage in the lid looks really handy, but I have also seen several that come loose.  I also thought about running the bolts of the rack through the lid organizer to help keep it in place.

Anyway, I still have the lid organizer that I bought... it's still in the plastic it came in.  If anyone wants it, I will make them a decent deal.... $60 plus shipping cost.
