Jobs Network
« on: January 16, 2009, 02:35:07 PM »

Has anyone suggested using the site to network for jobs?  Not suggesting posting resumes or creating a monster (no PUN intended).  Rather a place where someone can inquire about a contact at a company they have applied at. Maybe like the items for sale or to be sold areas.

"Looking To Hire"

"Looking for Contact"

I don't know just a thought in this economy.  In Chicago we are losing countless jobs especially in banking or support of banking (IT jobs etc)

I think an offering of help to other members or their business could benefit everybody.

It may be possible for somebody to use this site as a resource however, it would be here in Off Topic since it's not motorcycle related.

I know that Intel here in Folsom just laid off a lot of people.  I pass by there on my way to work each morning and that parking lot (the size of a stadium parking lot used to be full where now it's maybe only a tenth the cars it was. :nixweiss:  I believe it's the same in silicon valley........a lot of IT people looking for jobs.......the same as everybody else.   Good luck in your search.
