Side License Plate Options

Hi all

Are there any side mount license plate frames available for the 2009 CVO Softail Springers???

We removed the stk frame and reeflector to show the rear tire more. Dealer sold me a Kuryakan kit (#3180), but it does not fit the oval shaped swingarm.
I called Kuryakan and they said they do not have a kit out for the 2009's

Has anyone run into this???
any options are appreciated.

Get one that mounts on the axle instead of on the swingarm. ;)

Just noticed this one. New from Joker Machine. Looks really nice. Got the retro fins on the back like the new collection on the SEUC4's (not that it matters on your springer), or smooth. Looks very versatile. A lil pricey. Joker makes quality chit though. ;)

Better check with your local law, some states including mine have made vert lic mounts illegal.  Seems many offices can't read vert. They never pull you over for it unless your leaving the watering hole though. Just FYI

I have the same exact problem...
I have the Kuryakan, but the swingarm is oval... I have not found a replacement yet...

I have a side mt tag on my 07 springer you may see pic in this section under pic of my springer  removed the rear pegs and mounted it their real simple and clean did not wire the lite ....

Same problem here. I just got the same Kuryakyn unit from realhog.com. If you wanted to get creative, I suppose you could take the clamps to a machine shop and have them ground down to fit the swingarm. I think I am going to try that. It's either that, or I pay to have it shipped back.  I have researched and I can't find one that's made for the C.V.O. ANYWHERE! You would think that H-D would have something for their top of the line bikes! Very frustrating.

Also, I had a friend tell me not to sell my stock pipes due to the fact that they are going to start smogging bikes here in California in the near future!?! Has anyone heard of this? If this is true, you can bet that other states will soon follow suit. Those S.O.B.'s will do anything to get more of our money.  >:(

Hey guys I am new to this forum. but I have the Black Green CVO and for my side licence mount I got the one from Heart Land its for the Rocker. both of them have the oval swing arm and let me tell you it looks really nice!!! had to get a separate light but you cannt even tell. i shall put some pics later on hope this helps.

licence mount has around $180

light $50
