My dealer will stand by my warranty if I install a sert, but I am wondering about down the road........

If a sert were to be installed and you needed to get warranty work done....could the sert be removed without hd knowing it was there

Yes, Once a SERT is done it leaves a footprint, But some others don't.

If you are talking about the HD SERT or the HD SESPT they cannot be removed. The dealer can program over it but a marker will still be there. The only ECM programmer that does not leave a marker and can be returned to the base calibration by the customer that was in the bike is TTS Mastertune.
