Try a Gerber Multi-tool of your choice, single handed opening has saved my ass many times over the last 22 yrs .. My choice for sure,good luck.

I agree, the Gerber tool is also much more comfortable when using the plier function, it doesn't cut into the palm of your hand.  Also you don't have to screw around trying to fold the pliers out.  Just remember they are a very light duty tool.  The screwdriver tips are very easy to bend or break off.  Nothing beats a good tool kit (that you remember to bring with you)!
