The long wait is over, the silver Eagle has landed in Ct.
« on: January 21, 2009, 11:48:51 PM »

Got the call late this afternoon, after a 1k deposit in August the SERG is in. I'll get my first peek tomorrow, "still have not seen the silver in person" after monitoring this site for the past six months I'm a little apprehensive considering some of the many cons I've been reading regarding this bike and the 110 motor but.....I'm still very excited to be the proud owner of one, I think it will fit perfectly in the garrage next to my 03 silver and black Fat Boy and look forward to sharing riding time between the two. Have quite a few options already secured for installation i.e. lowers, tour Park, rear foot boards, to name a few. So it looks like it will be a few days to get everything together so I will probably not have any pictures to post until then but I promise you guys will be the first to see. "I feel like a proud poppa". Can't wait for spring wish me luck, thanks again to all the regulars on this site along with the many others for all the great information in prepping me for this day. I finally got the touring bike I've been waiting for!!!!!

Congrats! I'm still sitting on the fence, trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a yellow one. Hanging out here sure is making it an easier decision!  ;D

I put the deposit down first week in Aug on a Silver SERG, ship date is Feb 13.  It too will sit next to an 2003 Fatboy.  Mine was the silver and Black also, but those tins only have 100 miles on them, then I changed it to black with the real fire paint job.  The silver and black tins are in the basement.  I plan to share time with both rides also.  I have to much money and time in the fatboy to let it go.

Congratulations on the new bike.  I can not wait to see a silver one in person.  I have about a month left to wait.

You know ::)  If your garage is heated, you can put a cot in there...you'll get much more sleep that way :D  My wife has to drag me out of there every night!

Congrats!

Found out from the GM at my dealer that my silver SERG is scheduled to ship on 2/10. I'm nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof waiting for it to get here.

Enjoy!

Well guys finally after almost 2 weeks the Eagle has come home to roost, who knows when the weather will turn nice enough to ride. Also the roads have so much crap on them it will take more than just a couple good rains. Enough of that I know how much you guys like picture so here they are.

Beautiful ride. What size is the windshield?  Is it a clearview?
