I always get a little confused on tire sizes. So the question I have is this- What is the widest Metlzer ME880 that can be put on the rear of a 2007 ultra classic. I 've currently got a metzler the mu85 or what ever the stock size is.  I do like the metzler and am about to purchase another one, but I just want to know if I can put one a little wider on or not. I don't want to put  a wider swingarm or nothing like that, just want the widest tire I can fit on the stock configuration. I don't ride two up very often as my wife rides her own bike, for the most part even the tour pack is off. Load rating is not a huge concern of mine, but I do want to be safe.
 
Any body with any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

To be safe and stay within the load ratings of the tire stick with the 140. The 150 has a lower load rating and does rub on some bikes.
