I remember reading something about the navigation not working on some bikes. I couldn't find the post.  But I tried mine today and it seems to be stuck on trying to find the satellite.  Was this the problem everyone was talking about and if so is there a fix.
Any information would be helpful

Not trying to be a wisea$$, but did you roll the bike outside? It needs a clear view of the sky to see the satellites.

And give it some time. It can take more than ten minutes to make the first connection.

I left my bike out looking at the open sky for 30 minutes and it still can't find the satelite. I'll let the dealer look at it.

I'd let the dealer mess with it.  It sounds like your antenna may be disconnected or you have a bad NAV module.  It's under warranty, so don't sweat it.

just kidding I took it to the dealer and they are ordering me a new nav antenna

I have the same issue.  No fix yet.  Searched for satelittes for over 3 hours with the fairing off...No luck.
If you find the answer let me know.
I am trying to avoid multiple attempts to fix it so as to reduce the chances of something getting messed up in the process.
I would like HD to figure it out and know what needs to be fixed/replaced before I take it to the dealer.

The antenna for the satelitte looks just like the XM antenna.
Please let me know if it fixes yours.

I read the first five posts on this thread and thought "guppy has this issue too" so it's obviously an issue for many more as well.

Interestingly the bought units such as Garmin and Tom Tom rarely take more than a few seconds to find satellites (unless you are surrounded by tall buildings, cliffs etc)

Wonder why that is as they must all share the same technology.

I thought I had that same problem initially, but then I followed what it said in the manual.  Take it for ride while searching for the satellite.  Solved my problem within a mile ride.  I'm almost certain that I remember specifically reading in the manual that you need to take the bike for a ride to find the satellite for the initial setup, yet I keep seeing this problem posted and noone follows those directions.  Did I dream that I saw that?  I'll have to get the manual out and see if I'm losing it.

I rode mine over 50 miles searching for a satellite, I took the outer fairing off and set it in the backyard for a couple hours with a battery tender hooked up no luck.  I guess I will let the dealer have at it .

I talked to a dealer mechanic who's a friend of mine about this a while back... I quote "It's going to be either the GPS antenna which is located under the fairing or the GPS unit that plugs into the HK unit.  You'll never need to take the fairing off to get the signal as long as you have a clear view of the sky.  In most cases where taking the fairing off helped, it was actually because of a metal windshielld trim combined with a partial block of the sky because of trees."

When I get it fixed I will make sure to let everyone know what it takes.
No trailer and too much salt on the roads to worry about it now.
If anyone else has the problem and is able to fix it let us know what they did
