So today was a milestone for the 03 Classic.

50,000 miles.

A lot of memories on that bike and a few comments.

50K miles and it has always been "Mr. Dependable."

For me, this is the way a Harley should be.

Always ready to go, from a few slow rides to many, many blast over a hundred.

I ordered the bike and picked it up with 8 miles on the odometer.

Sometimes I skipped a month or two riding it but when called on, it was always ready to go.

As much as I and we love our Screamin Eagles this bike is family.

I have never put this many miles on a bike and this one is now officially "Semi Retired."

But I know, based on past history if needed it will be ready to serve.

I can't ask anymore from a bike.

Nancy and I had been in riding class all day and we were actually headed to the gas station when the 03 hit 50K.

It was one of those have to pull over and take a picture moments.
