The garage is full, what's easiest to get out, I will take the 03 Classic.
Great choice.
I love that bike, it's part of the family.
When it's time for the 110th Anniversary party in Milwaukee that's the one I will be on.

I had an 03 Silver and Black Ultra that i would have loved to keep when i bought the 09, the boss quickly overruled that thought.

A wayward bike find its way into your garage, Chip?

It's been a few miles and a few years but the 03 Classic needed some love.
What is the weakest link in the early twin cams, yep, it's the cam chain tensioners.
I know, almost a forgotten subject with the new style cam plate and hydraulic tensioners on the later bikes.
But still an issue with 06 and earlier that will bite you in the butt eventually.
Since the 03 even with 54K miles is a keeper it was time to correct that issue.

But how we long for the good "ole" days.
On a motor with 54K miles that has been run hard (but never abused) I also checked the runout.

How can I argue with that?
