Welcome to the site from Djibouti.  This site is a big asset to owning a Harley. Just about anything you need to know can be found here, so if you are having issues you can count on this board to help especially if your service department doesn't give you answers you want.

Yea, Ive been trolling around various HD forums since August, Purchased my first cruiser, an fxstsse3, but not doing any posting. There is just so much to cover, catch up on, within these forums. Ive owned countless motocross, and street bikes, and year after year been looking forward to what the next year might bring. My first street bike @16, was a Kawasaki 305 belt drive. Oh yeah! I usually expect to keep my bikes for a couple of years, If they last that long. I am a confident mechanically, but this is a different beast, with the amount of money I have invested, 6bikes in the last 8 years, still dont add up to what I will ave into my HD! with the depth of the possible fix before it fails, potential, I am really tied to these threads. Thank all of you for this. And yes, I am used to the usual initial set up, ie. intake, exhaust, cam, gearing, tuner, and dyno. The difference is that there has been less and less needed for modern street bikes, for performance, with really mechanically sound drivetrain and suspension. How is Harley, and its dealers getting away with justifying the cost for the oldest technology in the industry, and still not able to make these things bomber!
And the techs @ the dealerships, forget em!
And I thought I was buying American.
